The fact it required until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, regaining their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

When she was out her side required another 66 at one run per ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

That comment will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this tournament should hear.

During the last week a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.
