The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
