The second-hand marketplace Members Express Frustration Over Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its size classifications for women's and children's garments without notifying every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification versus the original listing because of the remapping.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Size Classification Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
User Experiences
One content creator, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
Another user, located in Scotland, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they're going to be very disappointed," she said.
Required Changes
A different user, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Platform Context
The app has more than 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update within the service has received backlash: previously, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices due to shopper criticism.
